Lincoln Elementary School Mission Statement

Based on a strong respect for individual differences, the mission of Lincoln School is to develop compassionate, independent, responsible, and productive citizens through a quality education.

Over the last two years we have decreased our discipline referrals by __% and have increased our CSAP scores by 38%.

Lincoln Elementary is UNIQUE!

Lincoln Elementary School adopted a unique program in year 2000 that has helped reduced the number of discipline referrals and has helped to increase our CSAP scores.

We are presently the only elementary in the nation to adopt this program.

We incorporated two major components from the Discovery Institute Model:

Appropriate Body Language—Nose and Toes Forward
Appropriate Eye Contact—Looking at the Speaker
Appropriate Feedback—Voice, Actions and Words
Ask Qeustions to Clarify or Validate—Two-Way Communication
